The product's whole thesis is that your footage stays home. The policy is short because the data we hold is short. Effective 2026-09-12.
We have no access to any of it. TRNSCODE is self-hosted: sources, encodes, previews and verification evidence live on hardware you own, inside your network — we host none of your data, anywhere. The product carries no usage telemetry: no job data, no filenames, no metrics and no master data ever leave your machines. The only call home is the license check, and 'What we store, and why' below lists everything it carries.
Access requests: the name, email and message you submit on the request-access form, delivered to our mailbox and kept as correspondence. Accounts: your email address and authentication records, held in AWS Cognito; we never see or store your password. Licensing: your account's tier, its bound master installs (an opaque hardware identifier per install) and license revalidation timestamps — this is what enforces worker ceilings. Billing: handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's hosted pages; we store the subscription state Stripe reports back, and your card details never touch TRNSCODE.
Hosting and standard request logs are provided by Vercel. Analytics are Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate, cookie-free page counts; there is no advertising pixel, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracker on this site. Your palette choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent anywhere.
We do not sell or rent your data — your email address included. We send no marketing email and no newsletter, as a courtesy and because your inbox is yours: the only mail you will ever get from TRNSCODE is transactional — account verification, password resets, and billing receipts. We do not run ad networks or share data with them, and we cannot read your media, your project names or your job history — the product reports license state, not content.
AWS (account store and license service, US regions), Stripe (payments), Vercel (site hosting and analytics), and Resend (transactional email for access requests). Each receives only what its job requires.
Ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and its records deleted: email info@trnscode.com from your account address. Deleting an account releases its license bindings and cancels any subscription.
